Here Comes The Caviar Performed Live For The First Time.

I am very excited to announce three very special shows in November. We will be playing Here Comes The Caviar in it’s entirety along with some other favourites.

I wanted to be one of the first first Kiwi artists to do the whole classic album live idea with a band. Here Comes The Caviar is an album with many of my best known radio songs that also translate really well live, plus it went Gold in NZ so it’s a good place to start with that idea. We’ll play it in order from start to end, only stopping for a slug of vino and perhaps a touch of reminiscing with Ted.

The album was recorded 2004 in California at a big old classic studio in Silverlake, with producer Clark Stiles and various musicians guesting including Rami Jaffee (Wallflowers, Foo-Fighters) and Jeff Young (Sting, Jackson Browne, Steely Dan) I’m amped about the whole thing and the brilliant venues, so if it works we’ll probably go on and do more albums

Joining me on the tour will be Ted Brown (Guitar and Vocals}, Wayne Bell (drums) and Mark Hughes (bass).

The dates are:

Dunedin – Coronation hall : Thursday November 3rd:

Christchurch – Blue Smoke – The Tannery : Friday November 4th:

Auckland – Tuning Fork:  Saturday November 6th :
Auckland – Tuning Fork:  Sunday November 7th :

I am playing the Cider Festival in Nelson on November 12th.
